What to Wear

Whatever you feel comfortable wearing is fine however for pole climbing and a lot of other pole tricks bare legs are needed for grip, so shorts are the best to wear. A fitting t-shirt so as not to lift up while upside down is also recommended. Bare feet are fine but for extra leg muscle definition and that added sensual feel you are welcome to bring your high heels or boots along too. Please make sure you can walk in them safely.

Pole Fitness Safety

We have never had a serious accident in either of our studios thankfully and we are hoping it will stay this way. It is imperative that you don’t wear any lotions or oils on your skin, so wash thoroughly ladies; we don’t want anyone slipping of the pole causing injury to themselves or others. Every precaution has been taken to ensure your safety i.e. all  mirrors are made out of safety glass, backed with vinyl so as not to fall of the wall if accidentally shattered. Floors have been carpeted for a soft, safe working surface.

Warm ups are done at the start of each class so that we don’t sprain or strain muscles during the workout. Bruising is common place when you begin but doesn’t happen as much once you have mastered working with your pole.

It is not recommended that pregnant women do pole work. Please consult your GP for further information.
